Marion wrote this book after seeing the fruit of ministering this subject at a residential conference by the same name.
In counsel, a poor father relationship is a cry of many.
Marion's book will help address and minister over this issue, as prayers are printed in each chapter.

The introduction to the book will help you the reader to see just how powerful this message is......

Introduction

Most people would agree that fathers hold a unique place in family life. Whilst every child has a special bond with his/her mother – the person who bore them into the world – a child’s relationship with their father is different in many ways. Whether we realise it or not, our relationship with our father, for good or bad, will have had far reaching consequences on our emotional wholeness as an adult and will have affected our view of the Fatherhood of God. Even those of us who were blessed with a great Dad will still have issues that bother us in adulthood, simply because there is no such thing as a perfect parent.

In a book that examines the affects of our relationship with our earthly father and how it impacts our relationship with God, it would be very easy to go down the road of behavioural psychology, but my goal here is rather to allow God to bring healing and restoration to your life through the truth of His Word. As I have seen so many times when speaking on this topic in conferences, the Holy Spirit is able to speak directly and personally to us and our situation as we trust Him and yield to His power. As you read, expect God to speak to you and be open to hear and receive what He has to say.

Throughout this book remember that the principles discussed can be broadly applied. Biblical truth and principles that apply to your relationship with your father may also apply to your relationship with your mother. Equally, they will apply if you were raised by foster parents, if you never knew your father and were raised by relatives who stepped in to help, or if you only ever knew a step-father. God is not legalistic and He doesn’t put people in boxes. Whatever your situation, be open to hearing what He has to say to you and allow Him to minister healing and wholeness to your life.
